“I’ve got no regrets placing my daughter at Star Learners. We’ve seen her grow tremendously, plus she adores her teachers! During her first year in 2018, Janessa’s English has made noticeable improvements as compared to when she was enrolled at another school. She has also become more confident to speak up in a group, which I learnt from Ms Sitti that it was through a recent activity called 'recite your own rhyme'.   

Apart of that, I also did not send Janessa to school during the HFMD outbreak last year. When she returned, Ms Sitti and Ms Zhang went the extra mile to guide Janessa on what she had missed out in school. Their willingness to make the extra effort is really worth complimenting.  

Lastly, I must take this chance to thank Principal Diana, who had given me the reassurance since our first visit in 2017. Kudos to her great mentorship and the team of passionate teachers, which made me feel that Janessa has entered the correct school.’’

Initially, we were very worried about having to put our child in an IFC due to a prior bad experience but realised that our concerns were unfounded because the teachers are really dedicated and would go the extra mile to tend to the children's needs.

The teachers would share their experiences, thoughts and practical tips regarding my child with me too. I could tell that the teachers were sincerely concerned and cared for the well-being of my child, even when he reported sick and had to stay home for a couple of days.

The principal and the teachers are very dedicated and passionate about what they do. They work together as a team/family and together, see to the needs of the infants under their care while creating a lively and fun environment.

In the past, my son would take home his learning books and do not want to read it. When Yan Yan Laoshi took over, I saw the progress in him. He started to show interest reading and when I asked him to read, he is happy and able to read on his own.

This Chinese teacher has shown me her effort within 2 months which I am impressed. I always see her singing with the children and engaging the children in many activities. She is also very caring towards other children in other levels too.

“Yu Laoshi have deep understanding of individual children in her class. She notices of the children preference, liking, dislikes and even parents' feedback. She is also a good caregiver to our daughter when she (our daughter) is down, upset, sick and etc.

Yu Laoshi give us valuable feedback when needed, either face-to-face or over the phone. Yu Laoshi has also assisted in toilet training our daughter. Now, our daughter is able to sleep in school without any diaper. We are truly impressed and we greatly please with Yu Laoshi’s help and excellent conduct.
